Privacy Policy

At ADABTEK, Corp. we strive to develop innovative services to better serve our users. We recognize that privacy is an important issue, so we design and operate our services with the protection of your privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we that gather when you use eVocabulary BuilderTM services, as well as some of the steps we take to safeguard it.

The following principles apply to the personally identifying information that we request and that you provide. "Personally identifying information" is information that individually identifies you, such as your name, phone number, physical address, or email address.

Data Collection

  • Our subscription services require some personally identifying information such as names and email addresses.
  • Our subscription services require billing information. However, we do not store this information in our databases. This information is only passed over a secure Internet link to our credit card processor(s) for processing your payments.
  • Test taking activities and the result of tests are collected and stored in our database to be reported back to you in an individual basis and to be used an aggregate level by others. We are the sole owner of this data and we may choose to share this data with third parties.
  • All email/physical addresses and phone numbers might be used to inform you of new services by ADABTEK, Corp and its affiliates.
  • When we require personally identifying information, we will inform you about the types of information we collect and how we use it. We hope this will help you make an informed decision about sharing your personal information with us.
  • We collect information about your Internet service, such as IP address to make sure that our service to you is not abused.

Cookies

  • We do not place any permanent cookies on your computers.
  • If you choose to be kept logged in to eVocabulary BuilderTM subscriber area cookies will be placed on your computer.

Information Sharing

  • We do not rent or sell your personally identifying information to other companies or individuals, unless we have your consent. We may share such information in any of the following limited circumstances:
    • We have your consent.
    • We conclude that we are required by law or have a good faith belief that access, preservation, or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of ADABTEK, Corp., its users, or the public.
  • In the event of a transfer of ownership of ADABTEK, Corp. or eVocabulary BuilderTM web site, such as acquisition by or merger with another company, we will provide notice before any personally identifying information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • We may share aggregated information with others. Examples include the number of users who visited our web site or how many users clicked on a particular advertisement.

Information Security

  • We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. However, we shall not be held liable should these cases occur.
  • We restrict access to your personally identifying information to employees who need to know that information in order to operate, develop, or improve our services.

Changes to this Policy

Please note this Privacy Policy will change from time to time. We expect most changes to be minor, but there may be changes that are more significant. All changes will be posted on this page. Each version will be noted at the top of the page. Prior versions of this Privacy Policy will be kept in an archive for you to view.
